A Message from VP Recruitment

Hi Everyone!

My name is Mikaela Sayyah, and I am the Vice President of Recruitment & Membership, I am so glad that you are interested in Alpha Epsilon Phi! We look forward to sharing the amazing aspects of our chapter during Recruitment in October! Going Greek was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It introduced me to the great friendships I will continue to cherish throughout my four years at Cal Poly and beyond.

Becoming a member of Greek Life allows you to be a part of a community that is bigger than yourself. I joined AEPhi during my freshman year of college, and it was the best decision I've made in my college career. In a school of over 18,000 undergraduate students, AEPhi provided me with a tight-knit group of sisters who are constantly supporting one another to be better students and members within the Cal Poly community. This chapter has allowed me to grow my leadership skills and develop my character. I was encouraged to take a chair position, and now I can proudly say that I have held positions on both the General and Executive Boards.

The recruitment process can be daunting, exciting, and stressful all in one, but I want you to know that there is a bright rainbow at the end of the tunnel. If I could offer any advice, I would say remember to trust the process and enjoy the opportunity because, in the end, you will find the perfect home away from home for YOU!

Recruitment is one of our favorite times of the year, and we look forward to seeing you at our events! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out at vpmembership.aephislo@gmail.com!
